I think Sawyer told Kate about his daughter Clementine and possibly told Kate to give her something.
I agree. I always thought it had something to do with Clementine. Once Kate realized that Clementine's mom was the woman who helped her once, I think a fast friendship may have formed and that was who she was talking to on the phone that had Jack all suspicious. If it doesn't turn out that way then I'll be surprised.
Oh, I just answered this on the previous post. Will find it on You Tube--he tells Kate that he has a daughter in Alabama, and to find her and tell her he's sorry. Something to that effect.
I think he said he loved her and that he was jumping off the copter for her.
but I wouldn't be surprised if it had something to do with his daughter.
But Kate lives in LA and she told the person on the phone that she could come over. If the woman and the daughter are in Alabama, Kate wouldn't have offered to come over.
