That is odd.

Where/how did Jacob get Charlie's guitar to give to Hurley?

did anyone else notice Sun finding Charlie's ring that he left for Aaron?

I wonder whats going on with Des and Penny.

Sawyer is going to blame Jack for Juliet's demise.Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09764178232137119622noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6696832705566403010.post-32926147148867234712009-05-27T16:40:35.105-04:002009-05-27T16:40:35.105-04:00Great recap! The significance of Tom's toy plane (and I only know this b/c I asked for the 1st season of Lost on DVD for my Bday recently) is that Tom got to ride on a plane all by himself to visit his dad so he thought it was cool. and yup, um, thats it.

I didn't realize that both Sawyer and Kate were kids when Jacob visited them, and that the others were all adults, interesting. Since we know that Kate does steal again and Sawyer finished that letter. I miss Lost already : (Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09764178232137119622noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6696832705566403010.post-50524309780102175142009-05-26T15:28:31.540-04:002009-05-26T15:28:31.540-04:00p.s. I have always thought the airplane was important (it belonged to the 'man that she loved' 'the man that she killed' aka Tom her first love... the boy featured there) b/c it is somehow Kate's constant... or something related to her constant...FROGGITY!https://www.blogger.com/profile/15842518735696732502noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6696832705566403010.post-66585693084992849762009-05-26T15:26:39.034-04:002009-05-26T15:26:39.034-04:00NKOTB 4 EVA. I don't know why he came to Kate and Sawyer when they were kids, but to everyone else as adults. If Kate HAD faced the consequences she might not have "gone bad" later on. Sawyer might not have harbored revenge in his heart for most of his life. Sayid wouldn't be the empty man he became. Jacob could have saved Nadia but he didn't. In fact, Nadia's death looked a LOT like Juliet's significant other. Remember her saying something like she could commit if he was hit by a bus? And then he was and the bus didn't slow down at all. Well, neither did the car that hit Nadia. I think Jacob may have planned her death. All of this so he could use these people for his game.Denise Grover Swankhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08089120954470675439noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6696832705566403010.post-7766436963636368422009-05-22T07:57:13.818-04:002009-05-22T07:57:13.818-04:00Interesting...that he visits them at the critical ...Interesting...that he visits them at the critical point. Could he have "excused" Kate for what she did rather than let her face the consequences? By providing Sawyer with the pain he decided to follow in the footsteps of Sawyer rather than listening to the advice of his uncle. By saving Sayid...he now starts a killing spree ordered by Ben.Keys to the Magic Travelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15634829064005032831noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6696832705566403010.post-42691584863172052292009-05-22T07:33:58.685-04:002009-05-22T07:33:58.685-04:00I did the same thing at the beginning. I was like,...I did the same thing at the beginning. I was like, "IT'S JACOB!" I totally agree about who the good guys are. We only assume that Jacob is good because we've been hearing about him for so long. Maybe "Esau" wants to kill him because he's actually the bad guy. Time will tell.

I think Jacob visited each of them at critical points in their lives. At times when they might have gone one direction or another and he steered them in one direction. For some that is when they are young, for others when they are older.

Great recap, Kat!! You've given me a tough act to follow!CaraBeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04614627167922944626noreply@blogger.com
